I watched Pi again last night. (The title is actually the mathematical symbol for pi.) My son picked up the DVD on a lark at Best Buy, not having any idea what it was about. It is an amazing movie. It's pretty short, and it just pulls you right in. I checked Leonard Maltin and according to him, the movie was filmed in 16mm (it is black and white) and cost $60,000 to make. The movie was made in 1998. Mind-boggling. Highly recommended. NOT a chick flick.

I rented "Pi" and I sorta liked it; didn't think it was great though. Definately not a chick flick.
Once my two brain-dead roommates saw it was filmed in black & white, they both tore out of the house.
If it wasn't in color and it didn't "star" Adam Sandler my roommates were bored.
