I agree with you about the UN, but it doesn't look like the US is pulling out of the UN anytime soon. This is not about how I feel about the UN. Iraq agreed to the terms, Saddam signed the papers....thus, he is bound by his own word. It is just too bad that a mans word is no longer worth the paper it is written on.

Well, Saddam is hardly the first or only tinpot crankhead to ever go back on his word (North Korea....), and he won't be the last. I guess I have a problem with saying, on the one hand, "Saddam is a monster on gross violation of UN resolutions", and on the other, "UN? We don't no steeenking UN". Will both are true independent of each other, taken together, they smack of hypocrisy.

Go after Saddam because he hurt US, and screw the UN.
