It's an amazing indictment. And this is just the indictment--can you imagine how much evidence the feds have on these guys? If they can prove 1/10th of it, Sami's toast.

Oh, his lawyer was on the tube. He said (in a chant we will hear frequently in future days) "he's a political prisoner" and Sami's gone on a hunger strike. I hope Sami knows that if a prisoner indicates that he's on a hunger strike, some jails haul the nutball to the nearest mental hospital and put an NG tube down his nose & feed him that way.

To judge by the indictment, the feds (NSA?) or some allied outfit like the UK's GCHQ has been intercepting the phone calls of these guys since the beginning of '94, and turning up highly incriminating evidence as a result. I wonder how many times officials asked their superiors to bring a prosecution and got turned down.

Not that I dont think alArian shouldnt have been fired years ago,but I think you are barking up the wrong tree trying to blame the current USF head honcho.

I live in the Tampa area and the frustration level about this guy has been huge for years in this community. They education mafia around here not only solidly backed this terrorist, they threatened massive national retaliation when the new USF head, I forget her name, inherited this situation, she forced him off campus, and called the cops when he showed up on campus.

No support from the FBI or any other LEOs was forthcoming, although she begged for an indictment from anyone! Tenure seems to mean untouchable in academia.

Jesse Jackson could probably learn a few new tricks from the Islamic shakedown artists.Under cover of law, and the magicial mystical world of academic "tenure", this terrorist, and many just like him nationwide, are deeply entrenched fifth columnists, and worse.

Our governor, Jeb Bush, has forced through many changes in the "higher education" hiearchy in the past few years in an attempt to bring some semblance of sanity to the multi-billion dollar education cartel, and has been mostly thwarted by liberal elected officials.Florida voters tossed many of them out of office, but changing state laws is not done overnight.

The alternative option, vigilante justice, has also been thwarted.Just ask our jailed local dentist who had plans to blow up all local muslim mosques and the stored firepower to do so in his condo.

We are living in a pressure cooker around here, and if it blows, the repercussions will make the civil war look like a picnic.
