Just sent a letter (a real letter not an email) to Russ Feingold telling him of my great disappointment that a man whom I believed to have some integrity and desire for fair play would go along with such and extra-constitutional action as the Senate RATS have done.

Next Blanche Lincoln, Mark Pryor and Biden. If we can peal off 5 "moderates" we will seal the deal. Bob Graham and Nelson of Florida are also possibles.

I was impressed when Feingold voted for Ashcroft...But I have not seen anything since to impress me. Then again, he is the Garfunkel to McCain's Simon.

Good luck with any response. My husband and I throughout the years have penned many letters to our leftist Senator (both "real" letters and emails) and the only response we have ever recieved from him was the one email back to my husband stating that he was sorry, but he only had enough time to respond to his own constituents. Mind you we live in Mid Wisconsin. My husband promptly sent him a state map with our town highlighted, and asked him when Waupaca had ceceded from Wisconsin. He never replied.

I also once got an automated response saying that he had recieved my email, but nothing more. He is worthless.

Nelson's office has indicated he favors taking it to the vote, has not decided on support of Estrada. Graham has been rocovering from operation, answer on taking it to vote not available from staff.
