Good indication of the main concern of star people, past and present, is when they become zealous over medal wearing.

I'm not quite sure what you are trying to say, but I never gave a rat's ass about medals after my first couple of years in the Army. I knew people who would lobby for medals and even write-up their own recommendations. Sorry bastards.

I always thought that after any person accumulated several stars, that medals would not be a prime concern. Vainty in the star ranks seems to be alive and well with most of them, perhaps the perfumed ones.
