“Munich Report” documents a secret trip of the Federal Association of German Industry, with the support of the Foreign Office and the Federal Ministry of Economics, which took place in May 2000 and which casts an entirely new light on the Iraq Politics of the Federal Government. Among the delegation was a company (in the first version, the company was identified as “Kolb”) that had previously been reported to have a connection to poison gas production in Iraq.

Delivering mobile biolabs to Iraq in the 1980's, when Iraq was a quasi-ally of the U.S., is one thing. May 2000 -- if this report is true -- is quite another.

In May 2000, Schroeder's Red-Green coalition was in power in Germany, and the Clinton administration was in power here in the U.S. I wonder if the U.S. government was aware of these sales.

The report is true. This was reported by the state run media and I verified that the trip occured via the BDI web-site.

The sale of the trucks is not the issue. The issue is:
1) Iraq hasn't declared them and,
2) Everyone of those pukes in the UN who "laughed" about Powell's "sketches" needs a good whack upside the head.
