More Info on the Mobile Chemical Labs & other German nastiness

“Munich Report” presents eyewitness to Saddam’s mobile biological and chemical laboratories.

At least eight units came from Germany.

Deals with political backing:  Federal Government supports German industry secret trip to Baghdad.

Munich, 02/17/03.  The mobile biological and chemical weapons laboratories, which US Secretary of Stat Colin Powell presented in drawings actually exist.  At least eight of these were delivered by Germany at the end of the 1980’s.  This was reported for the first time by an eyewitness to “Munich Report”.  Hans Branscheidt, an internationally involved development worker for Medico International, saw these vehicles in action many times in 1988.  The laboratories are not only capable of use in analysis of poisons and chemicals, but also as “factories for Smallpox, Botulin and other things”.  The identification by the inspectors is easily prevented due to their mobility.  “That eight of these mobile laboratories were delivered by Germany to Iraq at the end of the 1980’s is certain.”

The Federal Government strongly supports the efforts of the German Industry in making further deals with Iraq.  “Munich Report” documents a secret trip of the Federal Association of German Industry, with the support of the Foreign Office and the Federal Ministry of Economics, which took place in May 2000 and which casts an entirely new light on the Iraq Politics of the Federal Government.  Among the delegation was a company (in the first version, the company was identified as “Kolb”) that had previously been reported to have a connection to poison gas production in Iraq.

In a “supplement” of the BDI to the trip, the german ambassador to Iraq is quoted as saying “President Saddam personally [goutiert:  an old word, seems to mean entertain]” the german delegation.  This was shown “With many gestures and words of sympathy, and within the bounds of the visit, which is normally only accorded to highly placed official political visitors”.  The new parole is now to secure “a proper portion of the Orders Cake” for the german industry.

BDI General Manager Ludolf von Wartenburg stressed that the position of the german industry is that it is time, not only “in Iraq, but also in the UN”, to formulate and put though national interests. It must be made clear , especially vis-à-vis America, that with the current politics in the UN security Council, “German (economic) interests are being severely damaged”. In carrying this line further, Wartenburg later recommended to the Federal Government, that, in the Iraq politics, they should follow the example of France and to distance themselves even further from the US. This policy matches perfectly with the Irak Policy of the Federal Government in the UN. BDI Man Wartenburg further recommended that, in order to prevent a betrayal of their intent “In Iraqi TV,we let them praise us, in our media we prefer a bit more conceit”.

Colin Powell has got to be the most patient man on the face of the planet

You got that right. The most patient man. Next to my husband.

;-)

The interesting thing is that any commerical company who sells these things...probably only sells 20 to 30 per year. They know precisely who the customer is and how much was paid. They know precisely how the delivery was made. They actually have technicians who fly to the country in question and help set up the lab and present the keys. I would guess that there are some company officials in Germany who are shaking in their boots right now. They remember the episode. They helped to arrange the sale. They probably got a promotion over the deal, and a bonus. Their whole life will go down the drain the minute this deal is revealed and the labs are presented to the cameras. Whichever politician made this deal...and signed the export documents...is toast.

LOL. Can't wait for the festivities to begin. While ousting Saddam will be fun, the "Easter egg hunt" afterward will be even better -- documents, witnesses, WPMs, mobile/disguised production facilities, underground caches.

? (*GASP!* Those wonderful altruistic old europeans are concerned about their bottom line???)

Right about now they are more worried about their bottoms than their bottom line. France has sold weapons grade uranium to Sadam and Germany has sold the tools to make bio and chem weapons. Now both Germany and France have a large Moslem population. It seems the slings and bows of France and Germany may fall back on them. They Sold their souls for filthy lucre and now are forced to prostitute themselves to keep from being ravaged by their new master, the Jihad.
