Typically, Republicans and conservatives have been much more positive in their evaluations of Israel than are Democrats and liberals, and that continues to be the case.

And yet most American Jews still vote Democrat. Go figger. I think Bush has made some serious inroads here though.

I was appalled how much Israel-bashing went on in the media last year. And how much of it was going on in the European continent. I'm not Jewish but it sent shivers down my spine thinking how similar this must have been to the attitudes in 1930s Germany.
