On FOX Networks prime time ratings bonanza 'Joe Millioniare' Monday Night Zora Andrich came off so sweet and innocent.
She wouldn't kiss on the first date, and she always wore a tank top over her bathing suit.
But it seems that the Lambertville, New Jersey Zora Alrich was not always so demure.
In fact she used to be comfortable shedding down to skimpy swimwear-she has been featued twice as a pinup girl in a somewhat racy construction calendar.
Andrich appeared topless as Miss July in the Powerco, Incorporated 2001 Contruction calendar, the tabloid National enquirer reported yesterday. (slated to run in next weeks editions)

I think the FCC should be brought in to look at this stuff, it is getting so out of hand that pretty soon that the game show/reality genre will started feed on itself ..(or already has) Lord, its entertainment...if you dont like being fooled then dont watch. If you fear the end of "reality tv" then what are we losing?

Well heck. Where else do you get to see a construction worker choose between a Fetish Porn starlet and a nude tractor model, in an amazing French chateau, while accompanied by an Australian who is pretending to be a butler but was recently a remodeling supervisor, and was fired for throwing a party and serving a case of his clients' wine?

I think he was told in advance who was going to be the eventual winner.I think so ---he was at least coached. All the other girls were the same but Zora was made to look like the only nice girl. It never made sense he would pick the one that seemed to be the most obvious gold-digger and the least obvious except for the entertainment value of that. It was all scripted but fairly well done ---but the ending really could have been more entertaining, I was kind of disappointed.

"I can't really get into While You Were Out, not enough people have come home and hated it, and the host just isn't as pinchably cute as Paige." Theresa, the current host, is right out of the Fran Drescher Brooklyn Twang School, and she does nothing at all for me. But her predecessor, Anna Bocci, was 100% my type. LOVED her - but she's doing more lucrative things now, such as appearing in Pizza Hut national commercials. She probably made more doing that one spot than she did a whole season of While You Were Out.

I understand the premise of your thesis, and concur with some of it, but I guess I'm not sure if I'm underestimating, (or is it overestimating)...the "intellectual" depths of the viewing public....Cop shows went from Peter Gunn to Starsky&Hutch to Charlie's Angels in what, 15 years, and now our time lines are even more compressed....The overall problem with the shows today is a reliance on gimmicry and pizzazz as opposed to plot and story, which means that the edge has to be pushed further....also, movie audiences are accustomed to the magic of computer graphics on the big screen, which is harder to replicate on the tube...
The pseudo romance sub-genre..to use your rather elegant characterization, is basically purient voyeureism.....Anna Nicole is the ultimate expression of this..and the rating s for her and the Ozbornes have cratered....which means, I feel, that unless the broad networks keep pushing the envelope, their shows will also implode....and of course they'll push the envelope, until something really bad happens........regards..

If you recall, Zora was the one who was left without a dress for the ball on the first show - they had to make one for her that fit (who knows how long this set the timeframe back). Plus, I knew there had to be more to the "substitute teacher" angle. This was looking so Cinderella-ish.
But Fox got the ratings they wanted. I'm sure they'll be more.

Evan has been rumoured to be gay for weeks now, all of his so called gay friends have been whispering to the media about him and his former message / rent for hire business.

We are losing faith in running a non-crooked game, that is under the jursidction of the FCC.

Recently I saw on cable a movie called "Series 7: The Contenders" that satirized the whole "reality" show concept. Basically it was 7 people, each was given a gun, and they basically had to hunt each other down until one was left standing. Of course, they mixed in all the typical melo-dramatic stuff that you see in the reality shows in-between the killings.

Well, I guess I havent looked in those type of calendars!

Wouldn't it be interesting if, as a heavy construction-equipment operator, "Joe" had seen her on the calendar in the shack?
