There is more to this than meets the eye. Slate is a fax rag for the DNC. They obviously see her as a threat who must be stopped.

I agree with you, Slate is trying to force Moseley-Braun out of the race before she makes the democrat party even more of a laughing stock. I think she is a threat to the democrats in that she could turn people away from their party.

I thought the conventional wisdom ( if such a thing can be applied to Dems) was that this M-B's candidacy is the brainchild of Donna Brazile and others at the DNC who want to marginalize Sharpton.
