***Rep. Angie Paccione, D-Fort Collins, spoke out against the bill, "We’re a country founded on diversity. This motto does not reflect that diversity,"****

This country was not founded on diversity, it was founded upon a belief in unalienable rights bestowed by God. The motto is taken from the Great Seal of our country and found on most, if not all our currency. Certain, diverse ideas and actions could have gotten one killed at the time of the revolution, namely support for the crown after the Declaration of Independence. Nuts to that Rat Trap Paccione.

Nuts to that Rat Trap Paccione.

Hope they are stale beer nuts, at that.
Liberals! They make stuff up in their heads then try to project their hallucinations on society at large.
Just one example: I was certain (being college-educated myself, hrmph hrmph!) until maybe 10 years ago or so, that the 2nd Amendment RKBA clearly referred to the National Guard! Boy, was I steaming when I learned that the Guard wasn't even created until the late 19th century. That's why I will go on cursing liberalism till the day I die.

The word "diversity" had no human context in that era, at least as we know it. In truth, the new world was colonized by pockets and conclaves of religious and ethnic groups wishing to be free and isolated with people just like them -- the very antithesis of what we now "celebrate as diversity."

This woman is lame!
