TWENTYNINE PALMS, Calif.(AP) - Four Marines were being held Wednesday for investigation of raping an unconscious woman at a Mojave Desert motel, San Bernardino County authorities said. Deputies went to the Motel 6 shortly after 3:30 a.m. Monday on a report that a rape had occurred and determined the incident took place about 1 1/2 hours earlier, sheriff's Detective Jeff Joling said.

If they're guilty, they'll probably face max sentance in military prison. Not the thing to do anytime, but punishment will be exemplary when so many regulars are deployed and dependants remain behind without the men around.
