I heard Rush on the Chirac/Hussein relationship. Great stuff, and something you won't get anywhere else (well, maybe on Free Republic).
When I first started to listen to Rush, he was already a household name and I was kind of disappointed. He seemed too full of himself and his humor just didn't strike me as that sharp.
But the more I listened, the more I had to respect him. He is the main reason why radio really is dominated by conservatives. He paved the way and he continues to be a leader by breaking stories like the one he did today.

I have to admit I don't like Coulter on TV, she come off as being rude, but she is a great writer.
As usual she is nailhead. Can't wait to get her next book.

To be sure, conservative radio talk show hosts have a built-in audience unavailable to liberals: People driving cars to some sort of job. So liberals keep serving up their own dreary radio hosts, and the public keeps turning the dial back to Rush Limbaugh. ~ Ann Coulter
BWAHAHHAHAHA! Hey, if a good liberal show actually came on the air, I might be tempted to listen and call in.
I love Ann, but I do have one little nit to pick: Law and Order DOES do the un-PC thing from time to time. All the perps are not white bible-thumpers. ~ Pharmboy
I do seem to recall from the last 2 weeks Ice Cube or Ice Tea or whatever his name is or one of them, quipping something about how many guns get used on their owners.
Woody.
Ok, I'll fess up. I
do occationally watch

Yeah, she definitely knows all the liberal soft spots (and there's SO many of them!).
Have you read her first book, 'High Crimes and Misdemeanors: The Case Against Bill Clinton'?
It's on my list.

I agree, she can come off as kind of arrogant on the air. But I also love her writing style. I whipped through Slander and am eager to read Treason.

Yes, I believe he is still married to her. And she still wears the pants in the family.
Another wacky fact: Marlo appeared in the recent movie"Deuce Bigelow:Male Gigolo" as one of Deuce's clients(the one with the mad dog). I couldn't believe it when she showed up in that movie--what was she thinking? The bod has held up pretty good though.

If liberals cared about ideas or knew any facts, they would cease being liberals
This says in all
That's why these boobs have to have their seminars on how to call talk radio shows
It never dawns on them that if they were right they wouldn't need to resort to tactics

including listening to NPR I can't stand listening to NPR. When I want to hear NEWS I don't want to listen to violin bumper music fit for a funeral. Then followed by a story about a mountain man that builds mandolins from orange crates.
And on top of it, the newsreaders sound as if they are about to cry. ARGH!
Ann nails liberals though.

I think the first thing you would need for talk radio.....a message! Dems don't have one, and can't seem to unite to find one! I thought the message was "The world was better off when Bill Clinton ran things. Elect his wife, so he can get back in the White House."
If I were looking for a sure-fire winner, I'd have Bill the Useless host a talk radio show. The first month's ratings would be off the charts. But once the last FReeper had called in to pay his regards ("Bill! You P.O.S.! Why are you still wasting oxygen?"), ratings would tank.
But, 30 good days are better than no good days at all . . .
To: reformed_democrat
Hey maybe the new RAT radio network could hire Susan Estridge as one of their prime time talkers or better yet she could anchor the line up with a nationally syndicated morning show. Now how's that to get the ol body jumpin in the morning?

." They have the money, the business consultants, the radio talent. Now all they need are ideas. There's the rub."
Have to question the "radio talent" part. Can you imagine listening to Al Franken's nasal whining for an hour or two?
Of course they plan on trotting out actors and singers but what will these halfwits do without a script to put coherent words in their heads?
