-- FAN-TASTIC !!!! The Frogs cant lose enough billions to satisfy me. No Euros for Oil!!! Poor Jacques will have to try to bankroll another murderous dictator. See, this is what I've been saying. I think it is an absolutely perfect reason to go to war, to protect the American dollar as the fiat currency of choice. Since the Euro has gained 22% against the dollar in the last few years, it may be a necessary one as well.
Yet there is a hesitancy on the part of the GOP and neo-conservative mindset to accept oil (or oil currency) as a legitimate reason for war. Why is this?

I, for one, am NOT hesitant---except that it doesn't really apply here. This is about, now listen closely, WEAPONS of MASS DESTRUCTION in the hands of Al-Quaeda and/or those regimes who support AQ. End of story. All else is fluff.

Our problem with Damsad has nothing to do with oil or money. Do you recall our twins in New York?

Yet there is a hesitancy on the part of the GOP and neo-conservative mindset to accept oil (or oil currency) as a legitimate reason for war. Why is this?Because, anybody who has been listening will by now understand the only reason we are going into Iraq is Terrorism, it is about anthrax, riccin and training of terrorist! You can not logically even make a case for it being oil.

Yet there is a hesitancy on the part of the GOP and neo-conservative mindset to accept oil (or oil currency) as a legitimate reason for war. Why is this?Actually, Oil is the legitimate reason that France isn't interested in a war. WMD, terrorist ties, and Saddam's demonstrated desire to use said WMD is the reason for the war. If it were for oil, we would have taken over Saudi Arabia years ago and the Shah of Iran would not have fallen.

Appease Iraq, give 'em France.
Take Kuwait, after all we are already there. Who is going to stop us. Sheesh, why did we leave the first time.
Boy something smells bad. Maybe it's just this thread. But I'm sure I smell the same old Clinton liars.
