Was it 'United For Peace', or something like that?

Just go on their web site and you'll find all the Communist information you will need.

Paid for by the New World Foundation. According to the SF Chron, they underwrote Vanguard, who paid for the protests in San Fransisco - $100,000 worth. How many others they paid for is unknown; NWF is a huge, multinational non-profit org with ties to everything under the sun, including Hillary Clinton. Read this post and find out.

Yah, big deal. United for Peace and Justice organized the NY rally last weekend, but ANSWER is a signatory to that group. ANSWER had veto power over the speakers at the San Francisco rally last week (they blackballed Michael Lerner, which is still making me giggle), so they are apparently rather high up on the food chain in United for Peace and Justice

United for Peace and Justice used to be called something else. It was a pro-Palestinian website at one time. The exact name escapes me, though, and it is no longer on the website's archives (though it was about a month ago).

Six of one, half a dozen of another. Even the groups that are not openly communist have no philosphical problem with communism or socialism. They ALL have a problem with the USA as it has always existed, and are working feverishly to change that. The war protests are merely a vehicle for their broader agenda. It gets them more press than anything else has! It's trendy and topical!

You guys have been paying closer attention to these groups---either of you happen to recall what moniker United for Peace and Justice went by last year? I believe it was a Pro-Palestinian group, and I know the name change is fairly recent because I encountered a redirect page about two months or less ago.

Woe is me, I should have saved the page. (slapping self)

ANSWER begs to differ.
In the San Francisco Bay Area, four coalitions -- each comprised of many organizations and individuals -- have come together to sponsor a broad and united anti-war march and rally on Sunday, Feb. 16. The four coalitions -- Bay Area United Against War, Not In Our Name project, United for Peace & Justice, and the International A.N.S.W.E.R. (Act Now to Stop War & End Racism) Coalition -- have been working together successfully for the last several weeks to maximize the turnout on Feb. 16.

The twink in pink's name is Medea Benjamin, last seen dancing in the streets of Baghdad. Medea, being a mother & all (just ask her--she'll tell you), got the heck out of Baghdad before the bombs started falling.

International A.N.S.W.E.R. They are realyy the Worker's World Party. We now call them C.A.N.S.W.E.R., short for Communist A.N.S.W.E.R. and is pronounced "cancer". Remember the brave man in China who stood in front of a line of tanks in the square? Well the WWP guys like Becker were screaming for the tanks to run him over.

United For Justice and Peace is Leslie Cagan. Search goole.com with what's betwwen the square brackets [ +"leslie cagan" +communist] and you'll see she's a Castro groupie with blood on her hands. She threw a "Celebration and Teach-In of 25 Years of Peace in Vietnam" in observance of the 25th anniversary of the North taking over the South. As the North SLAUGHTERED more people in the South AFTER the war than during it, what PEACE was Leslie celebrating? Of course it's not my version or peace, your version of peace or even the version of peace that people who have a sincere belief in peace would recognize. Leslie celebrated the communist's definition of peace, the lack of opposition to communism. SLAUGHTERING the "reactionaries" in the South is the communists and Cagan's definition of peace.

NOt In Our Name is Clark Kissinger, whose day job is as a writer for the Revolutionary Communist Party's paper. NION's newspaper ad asks for contributions to the "Bill of Rights Foundation". National Review Online reviewed their public, non-profit filings and found that $96,000 of $106,000 the handed out last year went to Mumia the cop killer's lawyers.

There was a fourth group in the San Francisco "coalittion" but I forget their name.
