Noon time rally at University of California Long Beach. David Horowitz, invited by the College Republicans, spoke about why we should support our president and our troops.
On a grassy knoll at the rear of the crowd, the angry and the ignorant gathered with drums and signs that read: "BUSH IS STUPID," "BUSH IS RETARDED," "BU-- SH--!" "NO BLOOD FOR OIL," ETC. They chanted "Bull sh--!" and "Racist" (which I guess applies to any Republican or person who supports President Bush) while David Horowitz talked about human rights atrocities in the Sudan, Iraq, North Korea, and asked why the "No War" nuts weren't upset about any of that.
In case anyone reading this didn't get the memo, these "anti-war" protesters are really ANTI-BUSH. (please read their signs when BobJ posts them tonight.) And they aren't interested in any honest debate. They shouted over David Horowitz and Shawn Steel, who spoke afterward.
Part two of the memo is that the protesters are ANTI-AMERICA. They booed when Horowitz said that, but one girl was holding an upside down American flag with industry symbols in place of the stars. And another American flag sign read "the people are sheep" and "land of the pigs."
One old guy was walking around with a sign advertising the communist radio station Pacifica and explaining to anyone who would listen that Bush was appointed by the Supreme Court.
P.S. Rather than getting busy doing something about gangs and the school system, the LA City Council is discussing their own anti-war declaration.
How did Ted Hayes blow their already blown minds? As for that over-used, lame "No blood for oil" chant/mantra, just ask those idiots if that were truly the case, why didn't the US seize the oil wells in '91 when we had the Iraqis on the run? Hmmm?
It never ceases to amaze me about how ignorant and uninformed these fools are. Most of the protestors don't even know that Iraq was already spared a more destructive war and occupation troops via a disarmament treaty. A treaty which Iraq has repeatedly ignored and flaunted for twelve long years!
The left doesn't give a dang about peace or the fate of the Iraqi people. It's all about focusing their frustration and hatred towards Bush and America while furthering a communist/socialistic agenda. The leftist scuzballs will ignore, excuse, or stupidly admire Saddamn's "I-am-an-innocent-victim-of-a-bully" projectionist attitude. It is no wonder that they refuse to focus on Saddamn who could actually avert war against his country if he just followed through by disarming and/or stepping down. After all, Saddamn is a fellow socialist.
Now look at the anti-war protestors. Look at their faces. See the glares? See the expressions? That's HATE, folks. That's straight-up, visceral, from-the-gut HATE. And the worst part is that they don't even know why they hate us. They hate us because that is what their professors have taught them to do.
They shout down conservative speakers because it's the only form of debate they've ever learned! They've been told that theirs is the only allowable way to think, and anyone thinking differently is to be hated. And to be destroyed. They don't have to defend their ideas, they're right and any opposition to them must be totally eliminated.
For liberals, diversity = groupthink. Follow the One True Way or get destroyed. Step out of line and you're toast.
It's frightening that it's come to this, but we need to respond to these haters with backbone. Stand proudly for what you believe in. Don't hate back...be proud you're American, and proud you're conservative. Pray for them, that the hate in their souls will someday be replaced by love, the love that we know. And don't back down.
They must not win.

thanks for being there!
CG, thanks for the *ping* and the report.
Check out a few of the USA-UN affiliate organizations (NGO's).
Now, if you want to bash Cal State's morals, politics and ethics, be my guest.
My hopes are that the next location of their protest will be on a way only cruise ship heading out to Saddam's Brutal Dictatorship Paradise. Gosh, they way many are behaving makes me think many would be a lot happier living in tyranny especially the people who fund and organize the protests.
