It's not kindness to be brought up in an immoral or amoral environment. In the US, no one starves, goes naked, or homeless, except by choice or madness. That includes children -- orphans. An orphanage, state school or decent string of foster homes is preferred to a life as the ward of homosexual partners -- even when they are rich, and to all acounts otherwise the most polite, the most kind of people. That one flaw is enough that a child needs protection from it and not any risk of exposure to it.
