What's really behind anti-Americanism is the Euro notion that "America is controlled by the Jews."

Honestly, a German business associate said that to me in all seriousness last year, along with the "Bush is a cowboy" pablum.

A not-so-subtle combination of German, French, and Islamist anti-Semitism is what we're dealing with here.

An appropriate response would be no Jews do not control America, but they do contribute greatly to its prosperity. The real problem in the world appears to be that Germany is controlled by Germans
