You stole my thunder. The Stockholm Syndrome is, I am more and more convinced, the key to the opposition to our coming Iraq attack.

I'm not talking about the professional hate America crowd. It is the non-political types. They have convinced themselves, that if they show no opposition to Saddam (or any Islamic terrorist for that matter) that these thugs will somehow be calmed, rendered non-aggresive. They are equally certain that a US led attack will provoke "righteous anger" in these "masters."

Incredible as it may sound, I believe that millions have convinced themselves that the terrorists can somehow be lulled to sleep. Then, I suppose, we all tiptoe away, and all is well.
