Your
#361:
"You are placing words into my thread in order to discredit it." Your #369: "You are demonizing me in order to invalidate my point."
Looks like you have a persecution complex.
By the way, you also said, "I do not want to hurt gays, nor do I want to make rules against them. I seek equal treatment and no special treatment for all."
If that's the case, shouldn't President Bush hire the best people for the job, without regard to their sexuality?
By the way, you don't have to use profanity and personal insults, as you did in #361, to get your points across. And are the use of profanity and personal insults ("HOW DENSE CAN YOU BE!") marks of a Christian?

To answer for CC - YES, government is supposed to be a ministry.Don't look now, but your friend just said it wasn't the equivalent of ministry. Oops! (Didn't know President Bush was supposed to examine the spiritual walk of every person he appoints, and make sure it lines up with his own. This is all news to me.)

Of course I have opinions and if you read the old Islam threads besides this one you would find what I think about some of this subject. The biggest question I had then and now was President Bush slamming Pat Robertson and The Christian Right for standing up against the false Islam Religion which I believe is just a bloody cult. Which is called a Religion of Peace and most know that is false.
It looks to be that Frank has come across something having to do with why and he is seaching too. Now the next question would be is why is Frank being smeared by Grover Norquist. Want more about this read this link.
Islamists' White House gatekeeper
One of the hardiest perennials in the Washington political scene is the spectacle of conservatives publicly disagreeing with one another. The vicious personal attacks launched against me last week by Grover Norquist, however, went way beyond the kind of dispute that so often enlivens policy discourse, usually to the delight -- and advantage -- of liberals who agree with neither camp.
So why would Mr. Norquist, a colleague well-known and widely admired for his work on tax reduction and conservative activism with whom I have often worked collaboratively over the years, publish a letter and take to the airwaves to accuse me of "racism," "bigotry" and "lying"?
The reason given in a letter Mr. Norquist circulated last Wednesday, that was subsequently quoted at length in articles in Friday's Washington Times and Washington Post, was comments I made at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on January 31st. During a panel discussion about the balance to be struck in time of war between preserving our civil liberties and safeguarding our country and lives, I mentioned several factors that are compelling the Bush Administration, properly in my view, to infringe in relatively minor ways on traditional American freedoms to save the country from terrorist destruction.

persecution complex? no, I just don't let people lie or imply about me.
marks of a Christian? As you said even I sin. Though Hell is used repeatedly in the NIV Bible. Hardly a profanity.
Lastly - you were dense - The very foundation of my original statement regarding Bush was that all have sinned.
To read what I wrote and then to assume that I disagreed with or did not know of that foundational point requires immense density or bias.

It dawned on me that maybe you all didn't see Todd's original title for this thread:

My goodness! Here am I, one of those thread grannies, having been absent for a few hours doing unimportant stuff like feeding my family, and this is STILL going on?
And now THREE people are waiting to have their questions answered?
Let's start a pool on what the next issue is that Todd will decide saddens him about President Bush, causing another disgusting thread.
I have been thinking about this while reading the thread. Here are my choices:
1. We will up the aid to Turkey in order to get the use of their country as a staging area, and Todd will find someone's article which says we are caving to the Muslims. A nice thread about Islam being a cult and Bush being the traitor/anti-Christ will ensue.
2. Sharon's request that we go into Syria will be refused (for the time being, anyway) and we will get a thread on how Bush is abandoning Israel.
3. The space shuttle accident will be found to be of an unexpected nature, and Todd will blame the President for sending the astronauts to their deaths.
4. Some compromise in the Senate will set Todd off on how Lott would not have done this, and Frist is worthless.
As you can see, I have chosen issues which will certainly produce one conservative critic in the papers, and will guarantee a round-robin smash-fest from Todd, as he draws everyone into a huge, divisive thread.
I bet he can't go three days without posting a new thread. Failing one of these, he will again claim to have called C-SPAN and defended conservatives.

but your friend He has his opinion.
I have never posted to him or about him. I have never seen him as a poster. You should not make assumtions about people.
It is okay for each of us to have our own opinions

You're really a Charlie McCarthy. Cutting and pasting OTHER people's statements does not cut it when you're asked to explain YOUR own stated opinions.

This story has just hit the center for security policy web site....
Backing the president - or undermining him? Some Muslim leaders, like the Islamic Institute's Khaled Saffuri (left) and CAIR's Nihad Awad (right), have trouble staying away from terrorist causes.

without regard to their sexuality? How about I give Bush the benefit of the doubt on this?
In my mind it is hard to believe that in politics you bring 5 or 6 gays up through the ranks simply based on their work habit.
A little naive in my estimation - but since I have no proof I will trust Bush on it. Good enough?
