Every time I hear Chirac's name I think of that little French-Canadaian Looney Tunes character "Black Jack Chirac". Only difference is that guy WOULD fight when he thought it was necessary.

Wacky Chiraqi has moved from the sublime to the ridiculous to French totalitarianism. Unbelieveably arrogant pri)k.
Pardon my French.

Jacques Chirac the Dr. Spock of European Politics
Perhaps Dr.
Spaak is more appropriate. See 29 MAY 1956:

I agree Ivan. These are nothing but threats and thinly-veiled threats too.
This mucilaginous little bast**d is self-destructing, and while that will be a pleasure to watch, the world needs to keep it's head up and duck this creatures spew.

"We will not discuss pro-American or anti-American positions," Simitis told a news conference. "The candidate countries will be members" soon, and "we have to proceed together." Does the Fourth Reich have the balls to try that?

I love it - the girl who thinks she is popular while acting like a complete b*tch to everyone is the one to find herself at the prom without a date.

"Romania and Bulgaria were particularly irresponsible to (sign the letter) when their position is really delicate," Chirac said. "If they wanted to diminish their chances of joining Europe they could not have found a better way." I think these countries will be surprised to learn that they're not part of Europe already. I know that I am.

This article deserves a picture and a big BARF alert.
What an arrogant SOB.
To: txradioguy
This latest rant persuades me Chirac is personally on the take from Saddam and that the French government has been selling Iraq WMD technology. That's the only explanation that makes any sense.
To: txradioguy
Maybe they don't want to join such an appeasement society... I don't blame them. When faced with such possibilties, and having overcome the problems, there is such disdain that the other shouldn't have to deal with it.
Of course, that would mean having to learn from other's mistakes, and that would require thought, which seems to be lacking at this time.

Chirac is demonically possessed.I think Chirac was promised lots of things by the Clintons if he managed to successfully lead an anti-Bush coalition, but he's beginning to smell a Rat. Did you know that Europeans firmly believe That GWB will be a one term President and will be replaced by a Clintonite next year? Now who could've put such a stupid idea into their heads? Any guesses? Yes, Jacques. Time to wake up. You've been had!

Now wouldn't THAT be a kicker. The EU, tired of France's unilateralism and belligerent posture towards long time allies The U.S. and U.K., in an overwhelming majority voted France out of the EU today. Those abstaining from vote were Germany and Belgium.
