It's like they think they are the ONLY ones who are right. And are so certain of it that they can't see the incredible corner they've painted themselves into.

. "It is not well brought up behavior. They missed a good opportunity to keep quiet."
The same could certainly be said of France.
Children should be seen not heard.

Heard thin on John Gobson's show tonite. What would the French call the detonation of a nuclear device in the middle of Paris? Further proof that the inspection regime is working!

It is not really responsible behavior," he told a news conference. "It is not well brought up behavior. They missed a good opportunity to keep quiet." Amazing stuff!!!

Who's the split between? France and the rest of Europe? Seems like they're missing the boat.
Similar to Villepin talking about the great tradition of French honor in diplomacy and its resulting victories.
I'm wondering if he meant Algeria or Viet Nam?
You realize the whole problem of Palestine can be traced to France trying to get a piece of the Ottoman Empire which they had not earned.
Those bastards cause the problems and then expect everyone to kiss their a$$.

Chirac has absolutely no sense of the hypocrisy in his position, or of the total irony.
As someone said, this episode will end in tears for Chirac.

Chirac particularly warned Romania and Bulgaria, who are still negotiating to enter the bloc in 2007. "Romania and Bulgaria were particularly irresponsible to (sign the letter) when their position is really delicate," Chirac said. "If they wanted to diminish their chances of joining Europe they could not have found a better way."
Well we can solve that Chirac...we will invite them to join NAFTA!

As our good Secretary of Defense stated: "Going to war without France, is like going hunting without the accordian."
Good riddance to useless rubish, W.K.

A bit blunt for a "sophisticated" European, hmm? Wait, I thought *Bush* was supposed to be the arrogant cowboy?
This confirms the theory floating around here and elsewhere about the Franco-German axis' motivation for blocking our action in Iraq. Chirac et al hoped that their opposition would re-unite the failing EU experiment. I have a feeling Chirac might be wrong.
No way the Eastern Europeans are going to cast their lot with the West Europeans which stood by twiddling their thumbs while Eastern Europe was absorbed into the repression of the Soviet bloc.

Well, well arent we the feminine one.
"It is not well brought up behavior. They missed a good opportunity to keep quiet."
I am shocked by this language. The French are cutting their throats. These eastern European Nations need to shoot back a round in the black. Dont take this nonsense.
Paris doesnt run the EU [Though they want to] Chirac speaks like a dictator in what is supposed to be a democratic institution.
It is amazing to watch these idiots. They are shooting themselves in the foot and sabotaging themselves everytime they speak. The very first clue that they are Liberals.
