Are you prior service? If you were in the heat of it, would you approve of someone, no matter who they are, wearing the same ribbon that you recieved if they were far from the AO? I think maybe you would.

The equivalent of getting a note from your mother. One Admiral sticking up for another Admiral isn't exactly breaking news.

Elmo Zumwalt was Boorda's "Rabbi". Boorda was not a bad egg, but had serious personal problems. The Navy , politics and his own devils, not Hackworth, sunk him. RIP Adm. Boorda..
