And let's not forget stout southern gentlemen like Charles A. L. Lamar who was arrested for running 400 slaves into Georgia in 1858. And there was the Virginia firm of Franklin & Armfield who with their ships Issac Franklin, Tribune and Uncas ran slaves into the south for years, over 1000 into New Orleans alone in 1835.

I didn't forget them - I responded to the ridiculous assertion that I 'made up the statement that Yankee slave traders were active up into the Lincoln administration.'

I responded with factual, readily available information. Some people just can't handle the truth.
