I think Al's show might actually last a year or so. Most college-age liberals would find entertainment out of Al, and that segment might survive. But the rest of these guys will have a lot of trouble. And I think there will be almost no listeners in the south. The bulk of their listeners will be California and New York.

Another thing you forget is that conservatives are boring people as a rule, very little material for humor. You try to write bits around Orin Hatch, Inhoff, Hassert, and such. Sure you have a Trent Lott now and then, but there is a wealth of material from liberals, and scant humor in the conservative other than what is funny in conservatism.
