Has anyone ever met a "gun nut"? The only ones i've ever seen are Hollwood and TV creations. Met plenty of gun owners in my life. Not one could ever be called a "gun nut".

Has anyone ever met a "gun nut"?I'm sure some of us are termed "gun nuts" based solely on the number of guns we own or wish to own. No doubt much of the loony left deems all who attend gun shows "gun nuts."
So be it. I invite those liberty-hating pieces of human debris to use every opportunity to differentiate me from the likes of them. They can call me whatever they like, as long as they don't call me one of their own.

A gun nut is someone who uses a firearm for a purpose different than yours. To the author, a hunter, it's a shooter. To some shooters, it's a hunter. Anyone owning a gun for self defense only is automatically a gun nut.

I'm with you, can someone p-l-e-a-s-e tell me what a gun nut is?
I have several shoulder fired weapons, 50# and 90# Recurved Bows and lots of arrows with detachable target heads and a bag of replacement Hunting heads (all razor sharp).
Does that make me a Bow nut too?!!!
