Let us suppose for a moment this actually works (I strongly suspect it's a load of crap). The main people it will actually affect will be civilians. Imagine the anti-US propaganda field day CNN would have showing pictures of destroyed hospital equipment, pacemakers etc, no reticulated water due to the electronic destruction of pumping stations and so on..

The tanks with their diesel engines will be unaffected. How is it going to destroy field artilery, AK-47s, mortars etc?

It's far more likely to damage our equipment than theirs.

That's of course if it works. Which it doesn't.
