"
Rep. Curt Weldon during a hearing of the House Committee on National Security, Military Research and Development Subcommittee, on July 16th, 1997 raised a nightmarish possibility..."
Another whiney Politician. "I'm scared of this...I'm scared of that...therefore the American people must elect a Liberal."
Tedious.

I think this stuff is way overrated. Guess we'll see but I expect the effect of it will be far less than the fanciful description given in this piece.

How would the U.S. equipment be protected from this E-bomb? Wouldn't we be frying all of our army's equipment also?

"Interesting. I never knew we tested Atomic Weapons in space" launced from jonston island...operation dominic 1962 and argus 1958
Sorry, but I don't remember the US testing H-bombs in space. I recall the Soviets did....I will check on the 'net.
To: Yaron
We could use a neutron bomb.
Kill all the people and leave the equipment untouched.

"Hospital generators would not start, elevators would stop, aircraft in the air within range of the pulse would crash. Emergency services... "Banks, courthouse records, medical equipment, pacemakers, etc. My brother in law has a "pacemaker" in his brain to control his tremors.
Does anybody know what kind of shielding (if any) is effective?
