to help us ladies left behind with yardwork or shoveling snow.

Also a concern for my wife. I've got a few friends lined up for the broken plumbing kind of emergencies, but the day to day load really does come down hard on the dependants. Thank you for your service, and that of your husband.

I've shoveled snow all weekend...woke up to a dead car battery....found the battery charger...charged it enough to get to Walmart and buy a new one....I can do these things, but I hate it!.....plumbing, my greatest fear..LOL

God Bless you and your daughter.

I've got a few friends lined up for the broken plumbing kind of emergencies,

Uh, could you send your buddies my way tonight???

I waited all day for a plumber to show up and then he came in reading me the riot act about his trip fee and deriding me on what I thought was the problem (tree roots clogging the line).

When he gave me the estimate I waited for a second to see if he would laugh and say it was a joke. $746 for a roto rooter kind of thing. I paid the $90 trip charge and have no toilet, shower or washing machine... and no $90. Now I have to cancel a client meeting tomorrow to find someone with reasonable fees. Where are your buddies? Maybe I can pay their air fare for a fraction of what this jerk was going to charge me. ;-)

...and no dry towels since I had two floods today. But what the heck, I can't take a shower so who needs towels?
