You'll see these rallies in Sydney, London, Rome, Paris and New York. But you won't see them in Moscow, Warsaw, Budapest, St.Petersburg or Prague. That's because these people have suffered under tyranny and understand well the price of freedom. These are the nations now backing the US because they have emerged from their night of oppression and they know the role of the US in their liberation.

Conversely, those fools now clogging the streets of the morally apostate west, have no concept, let alone experience of what is at stake here. Intellectually befuddled by their addiction to state subsidies of their slothful lives and drunk on television and movies, they are terrified, not of abandonment of moral principle or the capitualtion to thugs and tyrants, but of anything which might disturb their own selfish existence.

When the terrorists see this sort of thing they conclude, rightly, that the west is soft, corrupt and has no stomach for the fight. It increases their contempt and diminishes their respect for us.
