Well said. Any chance you want to send it to the White House?
I'm becoming an isolationist. The rest of the world can go piss off as far as I'm concerned. I'm tired of their constant whining and dissing America.

Amen to that. Very well written Arkinsaw.
I would add another small item from last week: the European Nations are working on their Constitution and No mention of God. They have chosen their way and we know it can only lead to destruction.
PS: You should consider sending it in to some newspapers.

Don't be so discouraged.
France and Germany and Belgium are dowagers in steep decline physically, culturally, and morally.
Our new partners are the former Eastern bloc countries, the Polands, the Bulgarias, the Czechoslovakias, those who lived under the boot of Soviet communism for 50 years.
They know tyranny, and they are as determined as we are not to live under it again.
You're with us or against us.
Let them choose.

We did not fight for just France and Germany. We have also fought for freedom globally.
The vote in NATO to support Turkey was 16-3. We are not alone!
This nonsense about the world not trusting Dubya or the USA is limited. The nations of Eastern and Southern Europe trust us more than they trust France or Germany.
Chirac has overplayed his hand. Schroeder has no cards left to play. They need us more than we need them.

31 US Servicemen gave their lives during the Berlin Airlift. When has a German ever given up their life for America?

The only ones who seem to recognize evil are those that were so recently under it.
But all across Europe the polls show that support is wavering. Our greatest ally may very well throw out their Prime Minister for supporting us.
I salute the Polands, Spains, Bulgarias, and the like. But the core nations of The West have slapped us in the face and much of Europe is wobbly in spite of some of their political leaders stand.
I saw Charles Krauthammer last night opine that NATO is now dead though it will cough along for a little while. I agree.

We have a coalition of the willing. But we don't have a Western Alliance. That died last week.

I wish there was an emoticon for applause. That, sir, was excellent! We have a coalition of courage. The French and Germans lead the coalition of cowardice.
That's all there is to it. We just need to deal with the libo-coward-subversives here in America...and the invading hoard of illegals rife with mideastern terrorists that flood up from the southern seas and borders.
Human civilization had better wake up soon and get as serious about its survival as the seventh-century savages of Islam are about our annihilation!
SLEEPING AMERICANS ARE EASIER TO KILL.
Do not be lulled to sleep by the Religion of Peace defenders.
Click here and never forget the face of Islam and what it wants for you infidels.
To: Thorondir
It is not just Islam. The third world in general smells a kill. The closest histroical analogy is the pouring of the Germans into the Roman Empire. At first they just wanted to farm and trade(sound familiar?) then, well all know the rest.

Very good!
It is a shame that our elected leaders will probably not pay attention to any of this. I am extremely disappointed that none of our "leaders" has stood up to say get US out of the UN!!!

There may not be any Germans who have died for us lately, but I'm here to tell you the old Germans appreciate us like you wouldn't believe.
We need to be careful not to place too much trust in what we read in the press. It may be that 250 to 500 thousand protesors marched in the streets of Germany, yet 30 million stayed home. The government of Germany is not with us now, but Germans are...if that makes sense.
As for the French...well, what can you say about a Socialist nation that thinks they're too good for NATO?
