Fox just clarified the red-flag situation. They'll try to get the rest of it in sometime today, but they cannot postpone it past today because it's gone more than halfway. I'll buy that.
But I reserve at least a 5% chance of it finishing tomorrow.
Rules be d*mned, this is NA$CAR, the land of the instant rule changes.

If the race does not re-start by 8:00 PM, it is over.
Heard that on MRN Racing Radio a moment ago -- supposed to be the official NASCAR ruling.

Count your blessings you aren't here now, we had rain, sleet and snow starting yesterday - it's still snowing and is about 20 degrees out.
To: dtel
LOL, but if they have the track open tomorrow, they don't have Mikey's car in the museum until Tuesday. They've already got more than a full day of concessions.
Man!! I cannot get over how relaxed and cheerful these drivers are when they interview them. If I was driving at 185 mph a foot behind someone else for a few hundred miles, I'd be so tight you'd have to break my jaw to get a word out of me.

Keep the snow over there unless you promise to bring it to the mountain tops. We don't need it down in the valley.

Where is the track in relation to the dot representing Daytona Beach on the weather radar? Looks like another, but small, band of showers approaching.

Thanks Taxman. It's getting dark too early.
There's one red cell headed in, then the really solid stuff is about an hour behind.

That looks bad! I missed the beginning and haven't heard, what caused it?

I'm like you.
Back when I used to do a little Moto-Xing, I was so keyed up before the event, I wasn't worth a dang from Saturday night until Sunday evening, after the event. I just got a very intense mood and blocked everything out.
You really have to respect these guys and most of the fast ones are just kids.
Very poised.

I'd estimate right on the dot. We'll know if it starts raining in a minute.
