I think, too, that clinton probably is LIVID with Blair, as recall how Blair and clinton were close and clinton probably counted on Blair to not throw in his lot with Bush. Blair's low point for me was when he appeared in a film made especially for the Washington Press dinner in 2000. The film was made to glamorize Clinton but was utterly silly. Blair was seen riding a bicycle through the halls of the White House office building. The film was the epitomie of leftist boomer naievte and silliness.
Seems like that Tony Blair has done a whole lot of growing up in the last three years, while the Clintons, France, and Germany still inhabit their silly, naive, boomer world.

You said of Gen. Clark: ", he like most boomers I'm afraid, puts his personal intrests above his country".
I couldn't stand to watch that smarmy weasel this morning on TV. We agree about him.
I see this is your first day posting here at Free Republic.
A couple of items:
* Gen. Clark is NOT a baby boomer. (too old by about 2 yrs)
And I would be reluctant to generalize about baby boomers.
The majority of us supported or fought in the Vietnam War.
(despite revisionist media to the contrary).
Clinton is NOT our president.
Don't confuse those born between 1945 and 1961 with what you see on television or Hollywood.

Wesley Clark is an a**wipe. BIG TIME. His posturing on Meet The Press as a foreign policy "expert" is idiocy.
His attack on the President as basically IGNORING Al Qaeda is foolish. His big advice when asked what the administration should have done a year ago? Lil' Wesley says we should've focused on Iraq, North Korea, and Iran. HELLO WESLEY????? Ever hear of the Axis of Evil??
Then Wes wonders why we didn't pour "$5 billion more" into the Homeland Defense Department. BWA HA HA HA HA! As if Wes knows what an appropriate funding level is for a domestic department.
Later, Tim Russert mentioned that our buddy Wesley, the General, MET WITH DNC CHAIRMAN TERRY McAULIFFE.
Ah, NOW we see the real reason Wesley the Clown is ripping into the administration.
Clark, your behavior was disgraceful.

Could anything be more ludicrous given the level of anti-semitism sweeping the world. And frankly, we have enough problems without the likes of Clark, Hitlery, and John Ketchup Kerry joining our ranks.

Blair made a comment not long after 9/11/01, saying what a pleasure it was to work with Bush because you can trust him, he means what he says and does what he says he is going to do, and you don't feel like you're being manipulated.... kinda left it unsaid but hanging in the air, "UNLIKE THE FORMER PRESIDENT -- BILLY JEFF CLINTON!"
