Perhaps it would be a better idea to suggest that those who are genuinely interested in a discussion -- instead of pontificating -- actively try to bring out the best possible presentation of the opposing position.

At one time or another I think I have invited most of the creo regulars to state the theory of evolution. In all but on instance I was either ignored, flamed, or accused of setting a "trap", whatever that means.

[Blanket statement alert] They refuse to define the theory and refuse to revise their misinterpretatons. That way they can persist in happily demolishing their own private strawmen. Then they ask the evo to defend their fantasy version of evolution.

The "Evolution = Atheism + Communism" crowd is a good example of this phenomenon.

All I have asked in recent days, is for some advocate of ID to tell me what they would do if ID were suddenly granted full status as a science. What would the research program look like? What fossil discoveries would they predict that would be counter to the predictions of evolution?

Yeah, aren't they all so funny?
