My cable system doesn't carry FNC, so I've (cringe) been watching CNN off and on.
They've been reporting inflated numbers, with the London correspondent (a combo John Cleese/Matthew Lesko) reporting "500,000, one million, possibly two million protestors."
Blecch. I think not.

the London correspondent (a combo John Cleese/Matthew Lesko) I saw that guy earlier and his nearly explosed with excitement when he declared it was "NOT an anti-Bush rally."
Foxnews reported it as "not a pro-Iraq, but an anti-Bush rally."
Reporters let their emotions rule these days. I'm sure he was being quite nostalgic of the 60s.

Yep, 'hundreds of thousands' is the favorite media catchphrase of the day. Regardless of whatever the real numbers are, they already decided how to report it.

Isn't he the one that always shows up on Newsnight laughing and lurching towards the camera every time they do a story on the Royal Family?

I don't think they want to acknowledge that there is a fundamental difference of opinion between America and left-opinion in Europe. THEY haven't been hit yet. IF the CIA were really as bad as the leftwingers think, they would blow up the Eiffel Tower or something. The protests would melt away immediately.

If by the London protest, you mean at Hyde park, there is an aerial pic on another thread. Like the million mom march there is a crowd near the speakers tent, but not near the numbers advertised. Someone could do an analysis, but it was not 500K.

You describe that retard perfectly. He was simply beside himself with glee at these protests...I actually heard him say "up to 2 million people"! Unreal bias.
