So many ulterior motives; so little time...
- France wants this war aborted and Bush out because:
- TotalFinaELF has oil field development contracts with the Iraqi government that will either be worth an estimated $60- to $75-billion if allowed to go forward or worth an estimated big fat ZERO if the current Iraqi government falls
- These same oil contracts will also fall in value if the U.S. begins drilling in ANWR or otherwise reduces its dependency on Middle East oil
- The Iraqi nuclear program was originally sponsored by the French and used French-built reactors run by French-trained engineers
- Saddam Hussein rose to power as a SOCIALIST
- Germany wants this war aborted and Bush out because:
- Right now, German businessmen are being convicted of violating the arms embargo
- Right now, some 40 German companies are being investigated for violating the arms embargo
- That massive weapons program report that Iraq filed with the U.N. a few weeks ago lists some 80 German companies as vendors to their military and weapons programs
- So if the Iraqis do develop a nuke, it'll be stamped Deutsche Waffenfabrik, but all the manuals will be in French
- The Russians want this war aborted and Bush out because:
- After TotalFinaELF, Lukoil holds the next richest set of Iraqi oil field development contracts and options
- Russian is also Iraq's #1 lender, and if the current Iraqi government falls it can be expected that the next Iraqi government will repudiate those debts
- Saddam Hussein rose to power as a SOCIALIST, and only rediscovered he was a Moslem when it became useful. Even Osama bin Laden calls Hussein a SOCIALIST --- but admits that for the Arab cause, Hussein is useful.
- The U.N. wants this war aborted and Bush out because:
- Under the Oil for Food program, the U.N. in effect collects a 3% tax on all Iraqi oil exports; and despite what you may have heard, there is NO limit on the amount of oil that Iraq can export
- At least four thousand U.N. staff members and bureaucrats are employed by the Oil for Food program and the UNSCOM weapons inspection program; in order to protect their jobs, the status quo must be maintained
- President Bush has had the unparalleled audicity to shine a light in that den of cockroaches, and show those parts of the world that still care what a USELESS and PARASITIC organization the U.N. really is
Ergo, if you really want to achieve the goal of a one-world socialist state, this war must be stopped and Bush must go. There's really no other option.
P.S. Pointing out that our reasons for going into Iraq and taking out Hussein are no different than our reasons for going into the former Yugoslavia and taking our Milosevic -- well, that just induces cognitive dissonance, so there's no point in presenting that argument.

A breathtaking analysis...
Peaceniks think France, Germany and the UN are actually for peace? Perhaps we need to suggest to these paranoid anti-government peace "protestors" that the only reason France, Germany and the UN would be against military action would be if they had something to gain, which is money and power. There are many things that are clouded and murky right now, and it is true that there is alot more to this than meets the eye. I think we are witnessing a crossroads in history, which path the world chooses will affect the all of us for sometime to come.
