I had a fried tell me once that if you use simple pool chlorine treatment, like Shok-It, and mix it with antifreeze, it burns with a blue flame. Said he used to put it in separate baby food jars, and duct tape them together. It flames on impact. Never tried it, but I'm sure anybody wanting to build a simple explosive can get most of what he needs at Wal-Mart, anyway.

There seem to be a lot of things someone can do if they want.

I'm thinking chlorine can be used for all kinds of nasty things.

IIRC,either Bin Laden or some of his family own or owned a pool chemical supply company in one of our Northern states.This may not be a healthy thing for us.

That sounds pretty cool. Bet the fumes and smoke from that are NASTY. Actually, you can get all kinds of toxic crap at the pool store--chlorine (liquid and various powders/tablets), muriatic and hydrofluoric acids...
