Yeah lets fight the whole gd world. I hope your being facetious. Obviously most of you believe the NYSE is the devil's spawn and keep all your wealth in gold. If I was in gold or euros I would be banging that drum too.

Terrorist are terrorist and we are in a WAR with them. Bush said there are no boarders in this war and it appears he was right.

FARC, huh? The same Marxist swine Clinton pardoned. Are you sure? The FALN terrorists from Puerto Rico were pardoned by Bill Clinton, but I hadn't heard of him pardoning any Columbian terrorists.

Yea but we could care less about drugs. Anyone flying over this area is taking their lives in their hands anyway. This was not Terroism just normal drug trafficing behaviour.
We elect Presidents who use drugs now days. Most people even believe that Bush used drugs. They believe anyone who says they never did is a lair.
I agree we should go to war against drugs but fear I am in a minority.

The 'Toon pardoned Puerto Rican terrorists that belonged to FALN. I'm not sure if FALN & FARC ever crossed paths.

I agree we should go to war against drugs but fear I am in a minority. Yep, drugs should be legalized, regulated and taxed. That will remove the 15,000% markup price thanks to it being on the black market and will also end gangwars that a drug related.
Face it...if an American, ANY American, wants drugs, he or she can get it.
Whenever there is a demand for something, there will always be a supply.

Terrorist are terrorist and we are in a WAR with them. Bush said there are no boarders in this war and it appears he was right. So, when are we bombing Chechnya? My point being, are we "at war" with everyone who is called "terrorist" by a government somewhere?
The reason I ask this is that I wonder why anyone would consider FARC part of the War on Terror. They have certainly committed acts of terror in their own country, but how does that involve us?

I was talking to a couple of Columbians. One was a landscaper, the other was here getting his pilots license. Both said you take you life in your hands leaving the cities. The landscaper left with his family, and the other guy just wanted a small single engine ticket so he wouldnt have to drive between cities.

So you propose we legalize heroin so that anyone can wreck their lives with it and then WE have to pay for their care? That's nuts.

Yea but we could care less about drugs. Anyone flying over this area is taking their lives in their hands anyway. This was not Terroism just normal drug trafficing behaviour Afghan was also a major dope hub. My mind may be old and feeble but I can recall that FARC has other issues with the U.S. not related to drugs. The execution of airplane crash victims has nothing to do with drugs.

A federal health commission on smoking is recommending that the Bush administration raise the federal tax on cigarettes from 39 cents to $2.39 a pack, arguing that the huge increase could prevent 3 million premature deaths and help 5 million Americans quit smoking within a year. Here's your "legalization".
