Given how rabidly anti-smoking New York has become, someone probably lit up a cigarette and Mayor Bloomberg declared Code Red as a result.

NYC must be experiencing a lot of fear.
Tall buildings, subways, too many minorities to be able to discern terrorists...
Good. The eilites there may get a clue. Since they led the country into the current liberal mess, maybe after experiencing enough of this, they will lead us out.

I had already decided not to take the subways any more for the next few weeks. I ride my bike around the city instead. It's actually faster.

Restaurant? Fox said cable fire under the tracks... I wish reporters would get their facts right. They are going to kill people one day.

I am talking to my friend who works in the Penn Station building, he has been evacuated and he says there are police and National Guards everywhere...also quite a bit of smoke...
To: FeliciaCat; max_rpf
I have seen "electrical track fires" many a times--never ever did they cause that much smoke.
