(1) YOu may be bemused to know there are "code pink" ladies outside the White House protesting for peace (the theme is women for peace) (2) Hmmm, I think the French are "code white." 'Cause that's the color of the flag they wave when anyone tries to invade them. Check out the DC Chapter's Freep of the French embassy with the college Republican students yesterday: chapter members helpfully brought some torn white flags in case the French wanted to use them.

Actually, FTH, it was the College Republicans' protest with some DC Chapter members in attendance. They did all the work, getting the permit, sending out announcements, making their own signs, etc; and a great job they did! It did my heart good to see so many cheerful young faces out on the street. I look forward to meeting up with these guys and gals at future events in DC.
