Another odious feature of Islam not mentioned in the excellent article is the fact that lying to infidels (non-Muslims, or indeed even professing Muslims whom your imam or caliph has declared to be infidels) in the service of Islam is considered a virtue.
Asking a faithful Muslim if he renounces jihad as literal warfare is useless. If he says no, at least he is being honest, and can be excluded from imigrating with a hearty thanks for his frankness. If he says, yes, the fact that lying to infidels in the service of Islam is a virtue renders the reply contentless.
You are 100% correct. That is why my comments on this mess that we are in illustrate the similarity of termite infestation with this Islamic militant movement. You can chase your tail forever killing one termite at a time as you see them. The wise thing to do is to find out where they come from, and 1) kill the queen 2) eliminate the moist wood that attracts them. What do you think of this analogy?
