1) the Congress DID give the President authorization

2) if they want a declaration of war .. FINE .. PASS ONE .. but they won't because the Dems DON'T want to go on record with their vote

3) As for those parents and the soldier .. if you don't want to fight in a battle .. then I suggest YOU DON'T JOIN THE MILITARY!

You're right, it is a non starter but it provides aid and comfort to those who want to bring us down. The whole sorry bunch made me sick. Whoever heard of joining an all volunteer military and expecting not to fight.
