They are protesting against the American-sponsored eradication of coca, which indigenous people use as part of their culture and to fight altitude sickness.

Er,.....uh.....yea! works good for that!LOL!

This is just another failure of a distorted view of democracy. SNORT!!!!

The Bolivian's apparently do not know what the hell the taxes are spent on and they don't like it. Who would have thought?

It looks like all South America is going to communist hell.
At the same time Bush is still talking about fast tracking the FTAA!

Is there another world handy? This one is going nuts.

I'm afraid it is now about 100 years too late for that.
We were ensnared, and it was deliberate.
That's what we get for not being careful about Freemasonry.

Its true about the natives. People in the Andes have been chewing Coca leaf for thousands of years to work at the mile high altitudes.
Cocaine, made with sulphuric acid, benzene and kerosene (and one other toxic substance I can't remember) is a modern development.

Now its a huge cash crop for American indulgence.

Funny, the Denver Broncos have never needed to chew coca leaves. I don't recall hearing that the Himalayan sherpas ever needed it, either.

Coca was not grown in the Himalayas. Blackjack is right, cocaine is a 19th Century invention.

And Sherpas get along fine without coca leaves.

"Medicinal purposes...." Yeah. Righ. That's why they chew coca leaves.

Burn it. Burn it all.

Actually the raw coca leaf is a mild narcotic with no addictive properties to it all. It's only when the coca is refined into cocaine is when it becomes addictive and more powerful.

"This one is going nuts."

You've noticed too, huh?

This has been germinating for a long time with help of American journalists/activists. One who has the same last name as mine caught my eye with an article in the Sacto BEE and I liked something he wrote.

We became sorta pen pals with email breifly. Then he put me on his e-news letter list and I soon saw his Commonistic side as he bragged about his agitation in Bolivia against American interests.

We blame so much on foreign Communists/Commonists and their class warfare, but it's being grown right here in our institutions of higher indoctrination!
