Todd is sort of FR's own version of a heavily sedated, delusional Al Gore...isn't he?

Hatch explained that several times in the past he voted against cloture but FOR the candidate...
His argument that whatever his personal decision towards the candidate for judge AT LEAST THE PERSON SHOULD BE GIVEN A VOTE.
The rats want to prevent Estrada from coming to an up or down vote that they will loose.
To: spokeshave
I heard him say that several times, but I loved it when Schumer asked him what the difference was between Estrada and one of Clinton's nominees.
Hatch shot back, "He got a vote!"
It was swell.

Perhaps you should read further on down the thread to get the facts.

Gray Davis has been recalled? I must read local newspapers more often, which terminally bore me, and which I don't read. The thought frightens me frankly, because the alternative is likely to be worse, but that is another matter.

Listen up freepers if you think that thread is not just what The President did then you need glasses, oh Enron ended as not being a problem for Bush right after he asked them to show him what wrong doings he did. They could not as the thread showed instead it showed just what needed to be done. Make the rats put up or shut up!
I know what the truth is and if you want to fight me every inch of the way then hey knock yourselves out doing it.
I call it as I see it and when I say something its going to happen. Its my gift and I prove it over and over again!

Think of it this way. If this precedent gains traction, no SCOTUS nominee will be confirmed, and the SCOTUS will gradually decline in numbers, until only one is left. Who I wonder will be that one?

I didn't know Todd lived in California. Yes, I know, his reach is national. It must be, if Bush is taking his cues.

We all read what you posted; but you said Bush took your advice.
You've not shown anywhere that he even knew what you said.
Now, you made the assertion; let's have the facts to back it up.
And, again, what is the URL for that thread you posted from.......I don't see any reason for some of those posts to be included so I want to see the actual thread.

It's my gift from God! Now don't blow that up to mean something else, but like Rush I am here on loan! LOL
Really.......it's just my gift. Other than this gift I have no other! But I can see the truth in most matters within a short period of time from being told or seeing something or from reading something.
I guess you could say I got zapped but it wasn't at a young age.

If Bush follows TLBSHOW's suggestion, and makes recess appointments to all the vacancies on the federal circuit courts, I don't think anybody will accuse him of cowardice. I agree 100%. It is my understanding that Bush can make recess appointments repeatedly for the same candidates to the same positions, without restriction. Therefore he MUST fill the slots immediately.
Think of how much case law is decided by circuit, federal and appeals courts in the space of 6-18 months. I would rather have conservatives in those slots than have them vacant and/or liberal-leaning, no matter how they get in there.
To: Torie; Howlin
You think this could get enough attention over time to return the naming of senators by each state? Wouldn't that change the dynamics again.... Or at least they'd be more interested in lobbying for the favors of their elected state officials.....
