Are those troops Burkas(sp)?
Oh, none taken! The Gurkhas are of Nepal's mountain regions, and like their tough little Sherpa cousins, life there has given them a considerable resistance to taking offense at imagined insult, though they're pretty good at dealing with intentional ones. If I've picked up anything during my own too-infrequent associations with them, I hope that trait is among them; you'll not meet a more cheerful, often downright jolly bunch of people, though when it gets down to business, they can be quite fierce enough.
Are those troops Burkhas(sp)?
Pretty close; it's Gurkhas , sometimes spelled Ghorkhas, and you can learn a little of their long service as soldiers in the service of Britain's monarchy [for nearly as long as Britain's first adventures in India, nearly as long as the USA itself has been in existance!] at the links *here* and *here*, though their service is not limited to just the British Army.
Paintball? Yay! No bullets flying at us! Fun!
