I remember back in the campaign, candidate Bush tapped into something really important. He knew Americans were sick and tired of the catfighting, politics of personal destruction, and obstructiveness. He knew it, he campaigned on making a change in Washington, and you know what? He has kept his promise.

Often...and to our chagrin sometimes, President Bush was willing to compromise on programs in order to improve the climate in Washington. He was seeing the big picture. He promised to change the tone in Washington, he kept his promise, and I believe that "promise made, promise kept", is one reason his popularity is so high. People trust him to keep his word.

And now....again...people see the democrats spitting him in the eye, still obstructing, still full of hateful revenge for losing in 2000 and 2004, and putting all that rage ahead of what's good for the country.

It's bad enough democrats aren't meeting this president half way, what's worse is that now our country is in peril, danger all around, and the democrats are doing everything they can to weaken this trusted president, commander in chief.

I think Rush is right...people are about to get real disgusted with Democrats over the Estrada nomination.

I still don't agree with him signing CFR, the Farm Bill, expanding "education", leafing Clinton eco-fascist Roadless Area Initiative EO standing...

I support him because he is doing the right thing wrt terror. I can't stand his domestic policy. Quite frankly, i am not sure the "tone" needs to be changed.

The Other Side certainly hasn't changed their tone...
