Each day of the Democrat filibuster I am sending both California senators an e-mail requesting they work to bring the nomination to a vote. I urge each of you to do likewise with your Democrat senator. Here's today's note:
Dear Senator Boxer:
I don't understand.
Here we have a distinguished, qualified Hispanic-American jurist in Miguel Estrada who, if considered by the full U.S. Senate would be confirmed to the appellate court in a heartbeat.
Instead, your fellow Democrats are preventing such a vote on this fine man and you stand silent.
You should be ashamed, Ms. Boxer, for the way you regard your large Hispanic constituency in California. What do you have to say for yourself to explain your apparent disdain for this fine Hispanic-American?
Sincerely,
To: glennaro
Barbara Boxer is rambling now on C-span and sounds like an elementary school teacher instead of a senator. This is not to denigrate elementary teachers, but rather to categorize her style of speech. Is this woman for real? Perhaps she is an actress? Every California politician should start jumping on her case, and sister Diane's also, about their lack of support for the Hispanic community.

Good letter to Boxer...She's speaking now, this computer doesn't have sound, but somehow I doubt she got the message you sent her! It's always good when Boxer has to get out there and talk, nothing like a little "Californian Common Sense"
