This morning:
Sen. Hatch: "I want to correct the record. We did not us Weapons of Mass Destruction, we said Weapons of Mass Obstruction." The tactic of obstructing the Senate was suggested by liberal law professors ("who ought to know better!") during a 2001 meeting, according to Sen. Hatch.
"The first time in history - to risk the whole, doggone judiciary, for partisan politics."
"The real reason they're doing this is because they're so afraid that this brilliant, young hispanic lawyer may be tapped someday (for the) Supreme Court."
"He's one of my close personal friends." Orrin, re. Sen. Reid
"I've never seen anything like this. Not in my whole time in the Senate. And I think it's wrong."
"And you know what's driving this? (outside leftwing groups).. led by the People for the American Way." "My colleagues on the other side are listening to that stuff?!"
