If the President had listened to Sen. Byrd, we'd all be safe and happy by now. Sen. Byrd is not a gentleman. He is a scoundrel.

"How dare the Senator from Massachusetts lecture us on morality, when, in a drunken stupor, he left a young woman to drown in his car as he swam away and saved his own fat ass." On my sacred honor, I pledge $1000 to the Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee if a Republican Senator will jump up and say just that.

Think they are keeping another Dem on the floor w/Byrd in case he has a coronary and keels over? Wouldn't want to break stride, would they?

Byrd is blaming the President for not getting Homeland Security funds out to the people. Someone needs to tell Bobby that the Senate Majority leader AT THE TIME held it up .. Slim fast??

Well, now that you have the afternoon off, you could do something productive. I intend to make sure that my toothpaste tube is flattened and rolled up nice and tight so I don't waste any.

The Demos don't realise Lott is no longer in charge.
I say keep it going, the longer they are on, the more the American people will see and hear.....I say, who in their right mind would want to be a member of the "idiot" party after this?

I hope someone is rolling tape on this speech. I need to make sure I add it to my "Best of the Byrd" collection.

Durbin is calling KKKByrd's service Churchillian. What a suck#ss.

many thanks for keeping me updated!

If the majority of unknowing Americans saw a sound bite of this, they would think it was a clip from "Saturday Night Live". It would be hard to convince some that it is real.
The mood of the nation is grim!

All jokes aside on this clown, you are absolutely correct.
Of the highest order I might add!!!

They do know how to provoke! Unfortunately, too many Americans will buy the little actors on the Dem. stage today. They disarm the patriots and complain about the bad guys. Rats.
Byrd saying that the President prevented Tom Ridge from coming to the Senate floor? That's untrue. How many times did Clinton brief the Senate and the House?
Ack. Wish I could stay. Off to call Byrd and explain why MY mood is grim. (^:

Take a good look at those pages he's turning. They are typed in huge bold black. I guess Jack Daniels and small print don't mix.
