Why "zot" them? Isn't it far better to address their points and absolutely bury them with logic, facts, and reason, and leave it for the world to read? As long as they're politely posting opinion, let 'em stay. I love the easy target practice. It also probably goes a long way with fence-sitting lurkers, and may even wake a few Lefties up!

If it was about oil, why did we give up Kuwait? We paid for the territory with our military effort already. Heck, our companies OWNED the oil fields until the Middle Eastern nations nationalized them.

Okaaaay...go for it! I just don't have patience for people who are deaf to logic, facts, and reason.

If this were about oil, I would think we would go after the country that is number one in oil in the middle east. But we aren't. We could make tons of money trading with Iraq the way the French and the Russians do, but we don't.

The evidence is contained, in part, with what Iraq declared they had at the end of the Gulf War as part of that cease fire, that they have been either unwilling or unable to account for to the weapons inspectors. The onus is on them to prove they no longer have these things by showing them and destroying them in front of the inspectors, or providing evidence of their destruction. They have done neither.

Do you know anything about the Middle East other than the propaganda you are fed from agitprop organizations?

Thanks. AM

You clearly cannot think for yourself. You parrot the anti-American propaganda faithfully, but that propaganda has a long ago been thoroughly refuted and discredited.

1) How do we know Iraq has WMD's? We inspected and catalogued them in the early 1990's. Those WMD's have since been hidden, never to be seen by an inspector again. No evidence has been provided that they were destroyed. none.

We have Iraqi defectors who worked on the WMD programs in the late 1990's, including a former nuclear scientist and a former supervisor of a mobile biological weapon manufacturing facility. They explained the manufacturing of WMD's in great detail.

What part of these facts do you not understand?

2) The war is about oil? No. If this were about oil we would now own Kuwait. We would own Oman. We would own Qatar. We would own Saudi Arabia. All of those countries have overwhelming US military presence. We returned Kuwait to it's previous owners. If it were about oil we also would have fought against UN oil production sanctions and BOUGHT the oil from Iraq directly who are desperate to sell it (they cannot eat it).

3) We supported Iraq in the 1980's. Yes, of course we did. We did not wish them to be overrun by the Iranians who were seeking to conquer all the Mid East countries. We also supported the USSR against Hitler. But we did not sanction the USSR murder of millions of citizens.

You are a very sad, and foolish person who does not wish to know the facts. That does not make you ignorant, it makes you stupid. You are handicapped by your own hatred of the USA.

How does it feel to be a tool of the Worldwide communists such as the ANSWER organization? Do you get benefits for being a "useful idiot". Do they pay for your healthcare? put food in your mouth? Give you a job? Protect your family? Or do they simply put words in your mouth so you do not have to come up with words on your own?

Please do not ban King George. At least not unless he starts seriously spamming the group, or disrupting, or violating rules of civility.

Let him self-destruct. He will be unable to respond with facts, and will quickly show that his position is founded in utter hatred of traditional American values.

Do you people have eyes and ears? Where is this evidence that iraq has weapons of mass destruction anyway? Do you people know anything of the middle east other than what you hear from the governnment and TV. I think this "war" in Iraq might have something to do with the fact that Iraq has the second largest amount of oil in the middle east. Not the fact that they're terroists or they torture there people and the like. The Iraqi government has no know links with Al Qaeda terrorists. Furthermore when Iraq did kill its own people with biological agents it was in the 80s when the U.S. government offically supported then in the Iraq-Iran war. Seriously, open your eyes people.

You must be living a very sheltered life. My sympathies.

To be so ignorant must be very difficult. Perhaps you need to play some Barbara Streisand music or see a movie with Richard Gere in it...that is always helpful although it will not do much for your blind stupidity. Just think, in all probability within the next 6 months some type of bio-chem-radiological weapon will go off in NYC. You obviously believe OBL and his followers get no assistance in the development of these weapons from Iraq while we know (although your limited brain cells can not comprehend this) that Sadam is developing these same weapons. Of course, once these weapons are used against us your rallying cry will be we deserved it for attacking the innocent Sadam. When you wake up from your self induced coma brought on by your sheer ignorance of what truly is going on around you maybe you will understand. I could point out that by our turning a blind eye to North Korea we have created a monster and Sadam could be the mirror image of same in 5, 10 years but alas, once again your limited brain capacity would never be able to comprehend that. I can only pray that my three buddies stationed over in the middle east will be successful in removing the scum which is Sadam. I can only pray that once they go into Iraq they are not subject to the WMDS that all intelligence is indicative of him having but he of course does not have. Of course, even if we find he has them (per use during the war) the only thing on your mind will be "America deserves it, they just want the oil, America is wrong and I hate George Bush because he is evil"...Can read you like a book dude. You probably think Germany/France and Russia truly do not support the taking out of Sadam because they honestly believe he has no WMDS while completing ignoring the fact the probable reason they do not want to go into Iraq is the oil and all the billions of dollars illegal and legal investments they have tied up in it…..but of course it is the oil that is America’s reason for the war. You know doubt had your rally cap on when it was Clinton and when we went into the Balkans. God only knows that threat was much more then what we face now with Iraq’s development of WMDs. Of course now that it is George Bush calling the shots your mind set takes the opposite position due to your hatred of the man. Counseling may do you good to understand why that is the case. Why does the mere fact a Republican want to go to war throw you in a tizzy but when it is a Democrat you have no problem. It must be something deep, deep in the past. I only pray that the fight against terrorism, inclusive of taking out regimes sponsoring same, may one day make the world a safer place. It will probably take many, many years with America suffering terrible acts of terrorism before this will happen. Mind you, with or without a war in Iraq this terrorism will take place although again I can see your limited brain power surmising America is bringing this upon herself by attacking Iraq. You probably think 9/11 was our own fault as well. There is little doubt if the US is successful you will grab the coat tails of this successful fight, the hypocrite you are. If we are not successful then neither you or myself has really anything to look forward too.

You are absolutely right that the French and German opposition has polarized the American public. We KNOW we need to fight the terrorists. The Euroweenies are steeped in appeasement, and we all know it.

So if you commies think the war is about oil, why object to our drilling our own? Why fight drilling in Anwar?
It seems as though you'd be begging us to drill here.

I'd say your "peace" propaganda is more anti-Bush than anti-war. Where were you when Clinton bombed Iraq? Oh yeh. Never mind. He was one of your guys. That's different. Back then it was good for the socialist brain dead collective!
